Yet every institution already possesses a powerful bridge to close this gap — its alumni. A living institution of shared journeys, hard-earned lessons, and real-world experience. But this extraordinary resource often remains dormant when alumni networks are treated as nostalgic communities instead of active ecosystems.

When we started Vaave, our goal was to help institutions connect with their alumni. Over time, working with hundreds of institutions and millions of alumni, we realised the problem was much larger.

Institutions structurally lack the resources, tools, and processes required to truly activate their alumni networks. This is the gap we set out to solve.
